West Ham United loanee Robert Snodgrass’ performance for Aston Villa in the 5-0 demolition of Bristol City on Monday was hailed by supporters of the Villans.
The Villa Park faithful reacted on social media after the striker bagged a brace in the victory, adding to his goal against Middlesbrough in the previous fixture and making his tally for the season, six.
Snodgrass only arrived in the Midlands on loan at the end of the summer after failing to impress at the Hammers and had only two goals to his name before this recent surge in form in front of goal.
And it was the lack of threat going forward that had supporters questioning the ability of the attacker, whose frailties have been highlighted due to the lack of options available to manager Steve Bruce.
However, the forward now has five goals in 21 championship appearances to his name, and with a renewed confidence, supporters will hope they will finally see the best of the Scottish international.
After the win against the Robins, supporters of the Villans took to Twitter to express their delight at Snodgrass’ performance:

The victory saw Villa leap into fifth place in the Championship table and boost their goals for tally.
Steve Bruce’ side face Peterborough United in the FA Cup at the weekend and Nottingham Forrest in a fortnight’s time with the hope that Snodgrass can continue his scoring frenzy.
