Carragher picks Tottenham player in his team of the season, Neville laughs at his decision

Jamie Carragher selected Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen in his team of the season, with Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli and Harry Kane also making the starting XI.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher had seemingly selected Eriksen to play in a right wing-back role in a 3-4-3 formation.
The likes of David Luiz, David de Gea, N’Golo Kante and Alexis Sanchez were other standout names selected from the TV pundit.
But, his fellow Monday Night Football colleague, Gary Neville disagreed and laughed at Carragher’s decision to play Eriksen as a right wing-back.
“How many goals Eriksen has created from that inside right channel against Chelsea, the goal he set up in the final for Harry Kane [was amazing],” Carragher told Sky Sports.

“It’s a bit of a fantasy XI,” Neville responded with laughter. “Eriksen is still at right wing-back.”
Mauricio Pochettino has opted to play Eriksen either in behind the striker or on the right-hand side or left-hand side of midfield this term.
Over the course of the season, he has played 47 matches in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and supplying 21 assists.
He has also played 35 Premier League games for his team, scoring eight goals and providing 13 assists during those encounters.
From all the matches he has played this season, Eriksen has played 24 of those game from an attacking midfield role.
However, he has switched out wide throughout the campaign because of the goalscoring form of his teammate, Dele Alli.
The England international has found the back of the net on 17 occasions in the league this term, five behind striker and teammate, Harry Kane.
