Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths can put an end to suggestions of the 27-year-old failing a drugs test by firing the Hoops to a victory in the Scottish Cup Final.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will play Motherwell on May 19 and with Odsonne Edouard a doubt after picking up an injury in the win against Hearts and Moussa Dembele struggling to recapture the form of last season, there is room for Griffiths to make the striking role his own once more.
Writing on Twitter, the Scottish international addressed the rumours of a failed drug test himself and wrote on the social media platform:
Brilliant to see people accusing me of failing a drugs test 🤣. After a short stay in hospital having a couple scans , safely home, and looking forward to being back training with the team Thursday . 😁

The Hoops forward has been in and out of the side this season as he has struggled with injuries but his goalscoring record still speaks for itself.
Nine goals in 22 outings in the Scottish Premiership is just short of a goal every other game as he has faced competition in the position from Dembele and Edouard.
And should he get his name on the scoresheet, it will certainly put an end to all the talk surrounding the forward’s off-field antics and end the season on a high. after what has been by his high-standards, a mediocre campaign.
