By Harvey Byrne
Celtic attacker James Forrest has been named in the Scottish Professional Football League team of the week after the Hoops beat Motherwell 2-0 on Saturday.
The 25-year-old right-winger bagged the second goal for his side just before half time after Moussa Dembele opened the scoring seven minutes earlier.
Forrest has often gone unnoticed this season with stars such as Dembele and Scott Sinclair now in the attack.
However, the Scotland international received recognition for his display this timeout as he was the only Celtic man to make the PFL’s team of the week which was announced on the official Twitter account.

Of those appearances, 35 of them have come in this campaign, bringing a return of seven goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
With Forrest still contracted to the club until 2019 many of the Hoops’ support will be hoping to see much more of the attacker in the future.
