This team will break the record in style – Celtic best possible XI v St Johnstone
By John Reid
Celtic know that avoiding defeat to St Johnstone would make it 63 domestic games unbeaten, which would be the best run in British football history, and what better way to beat it than with all out attack?
A change to a 3-5-2 formation would allow the Bhoys to play a variety of attacking players, with the aim of scoring as many goals as possible.
Below is the XI that would score a feast of goals on Saturday:
In goals, Dorus de Vries would replace Craig Gordon, whose form seem to have tailed off at the moment.
In a back three, Kieran Tierney should start alongside Nir Bitton and Dedryck Boyata.

The midfield five would be anchored by Scott Brown, with Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic playing alongside the Celtic captain and bombing forward.
On the wings, James Forrest should continue his run of good form on the one wing whilst on the other wing Jonny Hayes can replace the out-of-form Scott Sinclair.
Up-front, the pairing of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths would cause St Johnstone all kinds of problems.
This team will score lots of goals, and what better way to break the record than with a big win?
