Senior player axed in Rodgers 3-5-2: Celtic best possible XI v Hibernian
Celtic return to league duty at home against Neil Lennon’s Hibernian on Saturday, their first league match at Celtic Park since the goalless Old Firm derby in December.
Brendan Rodgers has some interesting decisions to make following the 2-1 win over Partick on Tuesday night.
He should stick with the 3-5-2 formation which brought the Hoops victory in the second-half of the game.
That should mean that Kieran Tierney will move to a centre-back role that he has played before, for example when the Hoops won 2-0 against Kilmarnock earlier this season.
The only change to the starting line-up must be made by axing senior player Mikael Lustig to the bench to be replaced by Leigh Griffiths, who will be teaming up with Odsonne Edouard after scoring the winning goal against Partick.
There must be no place in the starting line-up for Moussa Dembele until his future is confirmed.
