Rodgers must unleash deadly double act in upcoming Celtic clash v Rangers
Despite Celtic being on the verge of clinching their seventh league title in a row and having three league matches in a row in the week ahead, most thoughts are turning towards the Old Firm Scottish Cup semi-final clash in two weeks’ time.
The Hoops go into the game knowing that a win will put them on the verge of clinching a domestic treble for the second season in a row, and creating a bit of history in the process.
Brendan Rodgers’ squad has been boosted by the return from injury of Leigh Griffiths, and the Hoops boss must start Griffiths and Dembele as a striking duo in the semi-final.
Rangers failed to cope when the Hoops moved to two up-front in the recent league match at Ibrox, and that was with Odsonne Edouard up-front.
Griffiths is a better player than Edouard at this moment in time, and a combination of he and Dembele up-front could cause Graeme Murty’s side all sorts of problems.

The Hoops boss should give the pairing a run-out in the three games before the semi-final, with matches coming up against the teams towards the bottom of the league both players should have a field day which should give them plenty of confidence for the semi-final.
The semi-final is so vital to the Hoops’ season that it is worth gambling and playing two strikers as the Bhoys look to make history.
