Celtic can turn good week into great week by announcing new deal for 25-year-old
It has been a very good week for Celtic fans, as they hammered their bitter rivals Rangers 4-0 in the Scottish Cup semi-final, and can clinch the league title with a win over Hibernian at Easter Road.
The Hoops board can turn this good week into a great one for fans though, if they announce a new deal for the very influential playmaker Tom Rogic.
The 25-year-old was at his mercurial best in the semi-final win, scoring against the Gers for the third time this season, and causing them all sorts of problems as he found lots of space all over the pitch.
Rogic has the knack of scoring big games for the Hoops – his winner in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final for example – and that combined with his array of skill and poise on the ball makes him a player who should be tied down on a new deal as soon as possible.
The elephant in the room though is that Rogic might have already turned down a new deal, as The World Game reported in February that the played has rejected the Hoops’ contract offer.

With Rogic’s contract running out at the end of next season, time is running out on getting a deal done.
But the player is worth going that extra mile for and if the Hoops announced a new deal in the next 48 hours it would be a massive boost going forward for the club and the fans.
