Celtic confirmed line-up to face St. Johnstone: Rodgers names three changes
By Matt Farr
Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to his side to face St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
Erik Sviatchenko, Gary Mackay-Steven and Liam Henderson all come into the side, following the 1-0 victory over Aberdeen on Wednesday.
Jozo Simunovic, Callum McGregor, and James Forrest, meanwhile drop to the bench, where there is also a rare inclusion for striker Nadir Ciftci, who has appeared just twice this season.
Top goalscorer Moussa Dembele returns to the bench after missing the last two matches with injury, but Stuart Armstrong, Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths remain absent.
Craig Gordon, Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Kieran Tierney, Scott Brown, Nir Bitton, Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair all retain their places in Rodgers’ starting XI.
