Celtic confirmed line-up v St Johnstone: One change as 22-year-old defender returns
By Matt Farr
Brendan Rodgers has named just one change to his Celtic side to face St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.
Mikael Lustig is the only absentee from the side, having picked up a knock following their comfortable 3-0 victory over minnows Albion in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Sunday.
Jozo Simunovic comes into the side as his replacement, partnering Dedryck Boyata who is handed a rare start for the second-time in as many games.
Craig Gordon, Christian Gamboa, Kieran Tierney, Scott Brown, Nir Bitton, Stuart Armstrong, James Forrest, Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele are then ten players the keep their places.
Striker Leigh Griffiths, meanwhile, returns to the matchday squad following a brief injury absence.

It will be a landmark occasion for skipper Scott Brown, who is set to make his 400th appearance for the club, following his move from Hibernian back in 2007.

It is their first league action since the priceless 2-1 Old Firm derby victory over Rangers back on New Year’s Eve, having spent the last few weeks on a mid-season break.
The Hoops can go 22 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a win, and victory will also see them extend their domestic unbeaten run since the start of Brendan Rodgers’ tenure.
Having already acquired the Scottish League Cup crown in November, Rodgers’ side remain firmly on course to lift a first domestic treble since the 2000-01 season.
