By James Black
Celtic extended their unbeaten run in domestic games to 59 with a hard-fought win over Dundee at Celtic Park.
The Scottish champions made seven changes from their last game with Dorus de Vries, Christian Gamboa, Edoue Kouassi, Nir Bitton, Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts and Leigh Griffiths coming in for Craig Gordon, Mikael Lustig, Johnny Hayes, James Forrest, Tom Rogic, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard.
Despite having the best of the chances, the sides went in 0-0 at half-time with the Hoops potentially dropping to second in the Scottish Premiership.
Dundee pushed the Hoops in the early part of the second-half and could have scored themselves on a few occasions before Olivier Ntcham opened the scoring for Brendan Rodgers’ side after 61 minutes.
The visitors continued to look for a goal but impressive performances from Patrick Roberts and Dedryck Boyata helped the Glasgow giants keep their place at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
