Celtic exodus: Rodgers favourite undergoes medical after agreeing 19/20 exit - Sources
Celtic midfielder Eboue Kouassi has undergone a Genk medical after agreeing the terms of a loan move, Football Insider understands.
The central midfielder, 21, is set to become the latest in a series of high-profile Parkhead exits this month.
A Celtic source has told Football Insider that the club have given the green light for Kouassi to head to Belgium and he has been spotted training with top-flight club Genk.
It is expected that a loan move for the rest of the season will be announced imminently as the paperwork on the deal is finalised.
This comes after Football Insider revealed in November that the Hoops would let Kouassi leave this month as he was not in Neil Lennon’s first-team plans.
Celtic paid Russian club Krasnodar £3million for him in January 2017 in keeping with their policy of recruiting rising stars with potentially major sell-on value.

But it is one deal that has not worked out, even though he was spoken highly of by ex-manager Brendan Rodgers, who tipped him in the Record to become Scott Brown’s successor and hailed him as “brilliant”.
Kouassi made the last of his 22 Hoops appearances in October 2018 and has not even made a matchday squad this season.
A cruciate ligament knee injury last season set him back a long way and he has been unable to force his way back in.
The Ivorian is set to become the latest high-profile departure following the exits of Scott Sinclair to Preston North End, Jack Hendry on loan to Melbourne City.
Lewis Morgan is in advanced talks to join new MLS club Inter Miami for around £300,000.
In other Celtic news, it can be REVEALED that the club have slapped a £12m price tag on player as English giants work on signing him by next week.
