Celtic expert verdict on axing Greg Taylor after latest development
Frank McAvennie has insisted there is no chance Alexandro Bernabei will be able to replace Greg Taylor at left-back for Celtic.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Hoops striker insisted Taylor is “the man to dispose” at Parkhead.
The 25-year-old returned to the starting lineup for the Celts in the 2-0 win over Dundee United on Sunday (29 January).

The left-back picked up a hamstring injury earlier this month and the game on Sunday was his first return to competitive action.
Despite Taylor’s injury, Bernabei only started two games for Ange Postecoglou in his absence.
When asked if there is any chance of Bernabei ousting Taylor from the starting XI, McAvennie told Football Insider: “Not at the moment.
“I think he is a decent player, he is just new. He is a bit raw sometimes and he gets found out but overall I think he is a decent player.
“What it did do was kickstart Taylor’s career at little bit. Maybe Greg was a bit comfortable in the position. Now he is the man to dispose.
“But Bernabei is only young, he has got plenty of time and he will be a decent left-back. So I do not have a problem as him as a backup.“

Bernabei, 22, joined Celtic from Argentinian side Lanus in the summer.
He has made 13 appearances for the Hoops across all competitions and has provided two assists during those outings.
