Celtic fans are all saying the same thing as latest footage of Rangers VAR controversy drops

Celtic fans were not at all surprised that Rangers were awarded a penalty against Ross County on Sunday (14 April).

James Tavernier scored from the spot after the ball struck the hand of County’s Brandon Khela in the box in the closing stages of the match.

But it wasn’t enough as the hosts won 3-2 in the Highlands to hand Philippe Clement’s side a shock defeat.

It leaves the Gers four points behind fierce rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table, although the former do have a game in hand over the leaders.

VAR Andrew Dallas sent referee Matthew MacDermid to the pitchside monitor before the late penalty was awarded at Ross County, with Tavernier then stepping up to score from the spot.

The decision has caused many Celtic fans to take to social media and share their lack of shock at another penalty being given to their Glasgow rivals this season.
