Vladimir Weiss trolls Celtic after heavy defeat against PSG

By James Black

Former Rangers star Vladimir Weiss has trolled Celtic fans during their Champions League embarrassment against Paris Saint-Germain – by calling it an “exhibition game.”

The former Gers winger regularly taunts Celtic fans on Twitter and saw no better opportunity than the Hoops’ 7-1 defeat at the hands of the free-spending French side on Wednesday night..

Celtic actually opened the scoring in the French capital before Paris Saint-Germain turned on the style and left the Scottish champions reeling.

Weiss tagged a fellow-former Rangers player in his Tweet – cult figure Filip Sebo – as he mocked the Hoops fans during the Champions League clash.

“Didn’t know PSG:Celtic is an exibition game,” he said on his personal Twitter account.

Weiss spent time on loan with the Gers during the 2010/11 season and has regularly hinted he would like to return to Ibrox.

The Slovakian international currently plays in Qatar and was linked with a return to Ibrox under former manager Pedro Caixinha but nothing came of it.

The former Manchester City youngster has never lived up to his undoubted potential, jumping from club to club before seemingly settling in the Middle East.

Weiss has made 64 appearances for his country during a career that has saw him play in England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, Qatar and Greece but never his homeland.

The 27-year-old won a Scottish title and Scottish League Cup during his time at Ibrox.
