Ralston featured prominently at the start of the season, even starting a game against PSG in the Champions League, before injuries curtailed his involvement in the first-team.
The right-back is seen as the natural successor to Mikael Lustig and there is a good chance he will get more game time in the second-half of the season after the January winter break.

Ralston is unlikely to be involved when the Hoops take on Rangers in the Old Firm derby on Saturday due to his injury problems.
The Celts go into the 11 points ahead of their old rivals and eight points ahead of second placed Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership table.
Manager Brendan Rodgers will be determined to see the first-half off with a win against Celtic’s bitter rivals.
The first match between the clubs this season ended in a comfortable 2-0 win for the Hoops at Ibrox in September thanks to goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths.
