Celtic fans react on Twitter to Aberdeen crushing victory
By Dominic Toner
Aberdeen recorded an emphatic victory on Friday night to prevent Celtic winning the league title – and the Bhoys fans were delighted that they will get the opportunity to clinch it for themselves at the weekend.
Brendan Rodgers’ side would have been crowned champions if Aberdeen suffered a defeat against Dundee, but the result was quite the opposite.
Aberdeen produced an outstanding away performance to win 7-0, with Andy Considine chipping in with a hat-trick.
The result means that Celtic will win the title on Sunday if they win away at Hearts.
The Bhoys supporters were mainly pleased that they didn’t have to rely on Aberdeen’s result to clinch the title and will now have the chance to win it in style at the weekend.

Celtic have been the outstanding team in Scotland this season and Rodgers has worked wonders during his first campaign in charge.
They have won 27 of their 29 league games so far and have drawn the other two, meaning they are striving for an unbeaten domestic season.
Rodgers has managed to enhance his reputation in Scotland after a positive spell with Liverpool and will be hoping Celtic can now become competitive in Europe.
They were frustrated in the Champions League this season, but have been the dominant force domestically.
