Brendan Rodgers has named his starting XI as Celtic return to domestic action after the international break and Hoops fans are  delighted to see sensation Kieran Tierney make his 100th appearance for the Parkhead giants.

The Scottish champions take on Ross County in Dingwall as they look to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic confirmed the news in a tweet on their official account as they named an unchanged side from the 4-0 win over St. Johnstone earlier this month.

Fans were delighted to see Tierney’s name on the team-sheet as the 20-year-old racks up a century of appearances in the Hoops, with many of them waxing lyrical about reaching the milestone.

Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Tierney has already captained Rodgers’ side – and was recently handed the armband for Scotland – as he embarks on what could be a truly legendary Hoops career.

The defender recently signed a new six-year deal to tie him to Celtic until 2023 after it was widely reported that a host of Premier League clubs sent scouts to watch him in action.

Tierney made his debut for the Hoops against Dundee in April 2015 when he came off the bench in the 81st minute in a 2-1 win at Dens Park.
