'World class', 'Outstanding' - Celtic fans blown away by defender in win v Zenit

Celtic fans were blown away by left-back Kieran Tierney’s display in the 1-0 win against Zenit St. Petersburg in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Tierney was a huge threat down the left wing and created a number of chances for Brendan Rodgers’ side as they looked to put themselves into a solid position going into next week’s second leg.
The 20-year-old’s final ball let him down a few times but the Zenit defence barely had a minute of peace as the Scottish champions kept them pinned back for long spells.
Celtic fans were delighted to see Tierney excelling against the Russians – with one fan calling the Hoops star “world class.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

The Douglas-born star has made 118 appearances for his boyhood heroes after making the breakthrough under former manager Ronny Deila.
Since bursting into the Celtic side, Tierney has been continually linked with moves away from Celtic Park, but has stuck with the Hoops as they continue to dominate the domestic game in Scotland.
The 20-year-old has made nine appearances for Scotland but has often found himself moved to right-back to accommodate Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson on the opposite side.
Tierney has won two Scottish titles, two Scottish League Cups and a Scottish Cup so far with the Hoops still competing on three fronts this season.
