Celtic fans on social media have slaughtered Jack Hendry for his performance against Hibernian, in a match which ended 2-1 to the Easter Road side.
Many feel he was to blame for the opening goal of the game, which was scored by Hibernian’s Jamie Maclaren, after losing the ball at the back.
The 22-year-old signed for the Hoops in January from Dundee for £1million, but he has yet to convince fans who have not yet seen the best of him at the club.
One fan has even claimed that he would start the out of form Jozo Simunovic rather than Hendry ‘every day of the week’.
Here are some of the best reactions to Hendry’s display against Hibernian:
Jack Hendry gives me the fear.

Jack Hendry is spending more time in the Hibs box thwn ours! Leaving Ajer and Boyata exposed at times here! If he wants to do the bombing forward, then make it a back 4

Hendry will need to improve his performances next season if he is to establish himself as a first-team regular, as it seems highly likely that the Hoops will bring in more centre-backs in the summer.
In a way he has been slightly unlucky, as he has been ineligible for the Scottish Cup, and hasn’t been able to put together a run of games, but he hasn’t performed well enough for the Hoops so far.
Interestingly enough, the player has yet to start on a winning side for the Bhoys since he has been at the club, as the only victories he has been involved in have come with appearances from off the bench.
