Celtic fans on Twitter have been showering Patrick Roberts with praise after the 21-year-old made his first start of the year against Hamilton, in a match which the Hoops won 2-1.
Roberts made an immediate impact on the game after returning from injury, with an assist for Callum McGregor’s goal which put the Hoops 1-0 up.
The Englishman replaced James Forrest for the Bhoys, and one fan claimed it ‘took 2.30 seconds’ to see the difference that Roberts makes to the side.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Roberts’ performance v Hamilton:

Roberts was superb for the Hoops last season but injuries have limited his appearances this season to the extent that he has only scored one goal for the Hoops so far this season.
If he keeps up the level of performance that he showed against Hamilton though, he could have a big role to play for the rest of the season, including the upcoming Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers.
The on-loan Manchester City attacker is set to return to England at the end of the season after a two-and-a-half year spell with the Hoops, and helping the Bhoys clinch a second consecutive treble would be the perfect farewell present to the Hoops fans who have taken the player to heart.
