Kieran Tierney is set to make his first appearance for Celtic since October in Sunday’s Scottish Cup clash with Albion – and fans on Twitter are delighted to see him back in action.
The 19-year-old defender has been sidelined with an ankle injury, and has not played since the Scottish League Cup semi-final victory over rivals Rangers on October 23.
But after weeks of training and an impressive display in a practice match during the winter-break last week, Tierney has been recalled to Brendan Rodgers’ starting line-up.
He was an important figure for Celtic prior to his setback, making 19 appearances in all competitions, and fans are thrilled to see him back on the pitch once again.

Rodgers’ named a strong line-up to face Albion in the cup, despite the gulf in quality between the two sides. Albion play their football in the third-tier of Scottish football, while Celtic are currently 19 points clear at the top of the Premiership.
Many of Rodgers’ more regular stars were picked in the side, including first-choice stopper Craig Gordon, skipper Scott Brown, winger Scott Sinclair, and goalscorer Moussa Dembele.
Victory for Celtic will see them maintain their unbeaten domestic record since the start of Rodgers’ tenure, and keep their domestic treble hopes alive.
In other Celtic news, Mikael Lustig has delivered his European ambition after signing a new deal with the club.
