Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to mock the reported bust-up at Rangers between Pedro Caixinha and Kenny Miller.

The Scottish Sun claim that manager Pedro Caixinha has omitted veteran striker Miller from the matchday squad for Friday night’s league trip to Hamilton.

It is said that the forward, 37, has been ordered to stay at home, train with the youth team and take no part in the match as Rangers aim to bounce back from their defeat to Celtic last weekend.

Celtic supporters have taken to social media en masse to have their say on the story that has rocked Scottish football given Miller’s status at Ibrox.

The forward spent a year at Parkhead a decade ago in addition to three lengthy spells with the Light Blues.

Some Hoops fans have joked that Caixinha must be on the Celtic payroll while others are perplexed that the manager is taking on such a high profile player.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Miller has started six of Rangers’ seven league matches this season, although he was dropped from the starting XI against Celtic in favour of summer signing Carlos Pena.

The former Scotland international came off the bench in the second half at Ibrox last weekend but it is reported he will not even make the 18 for the Hamilton match.

Miller was Rangers’ top scorer last season and has struck 100 times in 250 appearances for the club in addition to 10 goals in 38 matches during his campaign at Celtic.

In other Rangers team news, a Sky Sports pundit has sensationally claimed that Caixinha could be axed today.
