Celtic fans react on Twitter to performance of Nir Bitton v Partick
By Danny Wright
Celtic fans have given mixed reviews about the performance of Nir Bitton in the 1-1 draw against Partick on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old played all 90 minutes of the game and featured in a more advanced role due to Eboue Kouassi’s inclusion in the starting line-up.
Scott Sinclair scored Celtic’s only goal of the game in the 50th minute when he found the net following Patrick Roberts’ clever pass, but Adebayo Azeez equalised 14 minutes later, before Sinclair missed a penalty.
Bitton was playing for the first time in a little under a month since his last appearance in the Old Firm stalemate with Rangers.
He showed against Partick that he can make good use of his aerial prowess in the box, but despite a few good chances to break the deadlock with his head, he never really troubled the visiting goalkeeper.

The midfielder has made 36 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys this season, scoring one goal against Dundee in December.
The Parkhead faithful couldn’t decide what to make of Bitton’s outing against Thistle.
Here is a selection of tweets from Celtic fans about the Israeli international’s performance:

The draw against Partick sees Celtic’s lead at the top of the table cut to 23 points following Aberdeen’s win on Tuesday.
Their next game is against Kilmarnock at Celtic Park on Saturday.
With the league title and Scottish League Cup in the bag, the Scottish Cup remains the only silverware left for grabs this season.
