Celtic fans have reacted with delight on Twitter to see captain Scott Brown return to the Scotland squad to face England.
Brown, 31, is set to return to international duty less than 3 months after stating that he would retire to ease the pressures on his body as he enters his thirties.
However, the Scottish Football Association revealed on their official Twitter account that Brown has been selected by Scotland boss Gordon Strachan to face England on November 2011 in Group F of the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Brown rejoins the squad alongside midfield stars Barry Bannan, James McArthur and Darren Fletcher, with the latter retaining the captain’s armband.
Hoops stars Craig Gordon, Leigh Griffiths and James Forrest have also been selected, but there is no place for Kieran Tierney, who broke his ankle in training last week.
Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to express their pride at seeing Brown return to the squad to face Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

The former Hibernian star is expected to feature in his recognised midfield role, after missing games against Malta, Lithuania and Slovakia.
Brown has 50 Scotland caps to his name, as well as finding the net in a dark blue shirt four times.
