'Needs sacked' - Celtic fans react to senior player performance v Zenit

Celtic goalkeeper Dorus de Vries had a moment to forget in Celtic’s Europa League 3-0 defeat at the hands of Zenit St. Petersburg when he made a complete mess of Daler Kuzyaev’s shot from distance to make it 2-0.
After coming back into the side after Craig Gordon’s injury, the 37-year-old senior player hasn’t fared too badly but his mistake against Zenit left Brendan Rodgers’ side fighting an uphill battle.
What should have been a simple save saw the keeper try to punch it clear but de Vries completely misjudged the flight of the ball and could only palm it into the net.
Hoops fans have seen enough of the former Swansea keeper and want him replaced – with one saying he’s the worst keeper he’s seen play for the Glasgow giants.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

After beating the Russians 1-0 in the first leg at Celtic Park last week, Branislav Ivanovic’s seventh minute header drew Zenit level on aggregate before Kuzyaev fired Roberto Mancini’s side into the lead before the break.
Zenit made it 3-0 on the night and sealed their place in the last 16 when Ivanovic curled a dangerous ball in front of the Celtic goal and Aleksandr Kokorin managed to slide in and direct the ball past De Vries on the hour mark.
De Vries has made seven appearances for Celtic so far this season since Gordon suffered a horror knee injury and will likely faced added pressure for a starting place now after the Hoops signed Scott Bain from Dundee on deadline day.
