Celtic fans urge Rodgers to start 20-year-old winger v Rangers
By Will Butcher
Patrick Roberts and James Forrest are set to go head-to-head for the right-wing slot in Celtic’s starting eleven to face Rangers – and fans on Twitter are urging Brendan Rodgers to choose Roberts.
Sky Sports claim that Forrest has returned from a knee injury which has kept him sidelined for the Hoops’ last two outings, but is now available for selection.
However, 20-year-old star Roberts is the fans’ choice on Twitter as he continues to shine during his loan from Premier League giants Manchester City.
Despite making just 19 league and cup starts this season, Roberts has still managed to have a hand in 16 goals with five of those being scored by himself.
Now, Celtic fans are keen to see the four-time England Under-20 international start an Old Firm derby for the first time this season.

Is Forrest fit? Horrible to say but I hope not. Would rather see Roberts start.

Roberts, who is nearing the end of an 18-month loan in Glasgow, has been considered first reserve by Rodgers all season for either Forrest or summer signing Scott Sinclair.
However, fans believe that their number 27 deserves a chance from the off as Celtic look to increase their lead over their Old Firm rivals in the league to 36 points.
In other Celtic news, Erik Sviatchenko has revealed why the Hoops are 33 points ahead of the Gers.
