Celtic fans will love what Chris Sutton has said about transfer target Kasper Hogh

Celtic are on the hunt for a new striker before the transfer window closes, with Kasper Hogh being identified as a potential target.

The Hoops are in dire need of reinforcements up top, with the Old Firm club in the middle of a battle to win the Scottish Premiership title.

So far this campaign, Daizen Maeda has heavily struggled when he has been placed up top.

While Tomas Cvancara has since come through the door at Celtic Park, there are doubts that he can lead them to the title.

As a result, Bodo/Glimt striker Hogh has emerged as a potential target, with Chris Sutton recently heavily praising the attacker.

Chris Sutton loves Kasper Hogh’s finishing vs Man City

Football Insider revealed recently that Celtic were eyeing a deal for Hogh before the winter window closes.

The 25-year-old striker has been in fine form and scored twice past Man City last week in a shock 3-1 win for Bodo/Glimt.

As a result, Celtic have taken notice and have made contact over a potential move before the end of the winter window.

Hogh’s reputation is already high in Norway after he netted 17 goals in 28 matches in the top-flight in the 2025 campaign.

Against Man City, Sutton saw the quality of his finishing first-hand when he commentated on the match for BBC Radio 5 Live on 20 January.

When discussing Hogh’s second goal against Man City, he said: “Max Alleyne again is really poor. Kasper Hogh is all alone at the far post. It’s a brilliant finish, composed.

“What a finish.”
