Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to mock fierce rivals Celtic after prising young goalkeeper Aidan McAdams away from the Hoops.
It was confirmed by the club’s official website on Friday afternoon that the 18-year-old had made the move across Glasgow after agreeing a three-year deal.
The teenager was highly thought of in the Celtic youth ranks and was first choice for Scotland at last summer’s Under-17s European Championships as well as the Victory Shield in the season before.
It is now thought that he will move into the Rangers Under-20s team before looking to break into the seniors in the near future.
Meanwhile, off the pitch the deal brought great delight to the famous Ibrox support, as they came out to show their support for the youngster deciding to leave Celtic for Rangers.
One Gers fan went as far as to call the Hoops their “feeder club”, while another stated that he was now part of the biggest team in Glasgow.

After a severe contrast in seasons in the last campaign Rangers fans will be keen to gain any bragging rights over Celtic as they watched their team run away with a domestic treble in an unbeaten campaign.
They will now also be wathcing the development of McAdams carefully, as he could provide further joy to the club in the future.
