Celtic have found Kyogo Furuhashi replacement after source's Tottenham reveal - pundit
Alan Hutton has backed Oh Hyeongyu to replace Kyogo Furuhashi as number one striker at Celtic.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers defender insisted Oh is the exact kind of player the Hoops want.
The 22-year-old joined Parkhead in January and has made an impressive start to life in Glasgow when given the opportunity.
The striker was averaging a goal every 56 minutes in the Scottish top flight after scoring four goals in five games following the split.
The South Korea international has made just one league start for Ange Postecoglou’s side in 16 appearances and has failed to oust top scorer Kyogo Furuhashi from the starting lineup.
With manager Postecoglou looking likely to depart for Tottenham in the coming days, Kyogo could be one of the names he looks to take with him to London.

When asked if Oh is ready to step up to the mark for the Hoops, Hutton told Football Insider: “He ticks all the boxes for a number nine, he is big and powerful, knows where the back of the net is.
“He can make intelligent runs and he looks passionate.
“You see him when he is scoring, celebrating again after the VAR checks, these are things that you want to see. You want to see players enjoying their football.
“He is so young so it is going to take him time, it is not going to happen overnight. He has got time on his hands and if he is scoring and loving where he is at this moment in time, that is when you play better.“
