Celtic must accept Johnny Kenny offer as horrific details emerge
Wilfried Nancy surely has a clear priority in regards to his first piece of transfer business as Celtic manager.
The Frenchman has been under huge pressure since his arrival in the Premiership, and finally secured his first win thanks to a 3-1 victory over Aberdeen last time out.
Celtic fans have already ostracised Nancy in the early stages of his tenure, as a four-game losing run represented the worst possible start to his reign at the Glasgow giants.
Nancy and his charges now have just two games remaining before the January transfer window opens, and his opening games in charge should have clearly outlined his first priority within the squad.

Celtic have to find a way to sell Johnny Kenny
Celtic fans have torn into Johnny Kenny for his performances in recent weeks, and the Irishman’s horrendous displays have certainly left a lot to be desired in front of goal.
The frontman’s last goal came on 9 November in the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock, and he has since squandered countless chances to add to his tally of four goals for the campaign in the league.
That has been made abundantly clear by recent clashes with Aberdeen and Dundee United, as the 22-year-old missed two big chances in both encounters, according to Fotmob.
| Player | Big Chances Missed | Conversion Rate |
| Daizen Maeda | 11 | 19.4% |
| Johnny Kenny | 9 | 12.9% |
| Benjamin Nygren | 4 | 15.8% |
| Hyun-Jun Yang | 4 | – |
| Kelechi Iheanacho | 3 | 14.3% |
Celtic got away with his profligacy inside the box in the Aberdeen victory, but were left to rue the striker’s missed chances as they slipped to defeat at Tannadice.
That has taken Kenny’s tally of big chances missed to a concerning nine for the season.
Only Daizen Maeda has a higher tally than the youngster in that department, and he has played over double the minutes of his counterpart in Premiership action.

The lack of firepower at Nancy’s disposal has become clear of late, and getting Kenny out of the door to make way for a replacement has to be an immediate priority.
Kelechi Iheanacho must also be moved on
Football Insider revealed back in November that Celtic are working to bring in a new striker in January, and that should coincide with a clearout of their current options.
Kelechi Iheanacho has also struggled to find both form and fitness since his arrival in the summer, and he is another player whose future should be under serious scrutiny next month.
The 29-year-old is likely to be commanding a hefty wage at Parkhead due to his big reputation, and four league appearances and two goals by December is not the return that Celtic would have been hoping for.
The former Leicester City man is far from the least effective option in Nancy’s squad, but he likely isn’t justifying the outlay being spent on him at the moment.
Celtic only have the Nigerian on a one-year deal at the moment, and it will be a huge surprise to see them exercise their option for an additional year if his stint continues in this vein.
