Celtic player ratings v Partick: First-team duo 5/10 in Parkhead win

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS

Craig Gordon – 6: Didn’t have much to do in the game, far better than his dreadful performance against Hearts although that may be because he didn’t have many saves to make

Mikael Lustig – 6: Did well going forward but not as well in defence, which seems to be his usual performance these days, far better than on Sunday

Dedryck Boyata – 6: Another who was far better than he was against Hearts, still looked shaky at times but generally wasn’t troubled, really should have scored with a header in the second-half

Kristoffer Ajer – 7: Very good performance from a player who should be starting most games, in far better form than Simunovic and Boyata, only mistake was missing a free header in the first-half

Kieran Tierney – 8: Back to his best after a poor performance against Hearts, took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second-half and was rewarded with an excellent goal.
