Football Insider rates the Celtic players out of ten following their 2-1 victory against Dundee on Sunday afternoon.
Craig Gordon 6 – He would have been disappointed to concede late into the second half. But. it was a magnificent strike from Faissal El Baktaoui.
Mikael Lustig 6 – The right-back was not overly impressive but there were times when he linked up well with Scott Sinclair and produced good crosses into the box.
Dedryck Boyata 7 – Solid display from the centre-back who was typically strong in the air. Can still improve his passing from the back.
Jozo Simunovic 7 – Did well to be in the right position to open the scoring. He also did his defensive duties very well. Just about managed to deal with the danger at the end.
Kieran Tierney 5 – Not the best of performances from the youngster who is normally better than what he produced against Dundee. The left-back nearly gifted the home team with a goal when he got his pass horribly wrong in the second half.
Callum McGregor 5 – Mediocre display from the midfielder who needs to improve his passing on the ball. He was substituted midway through the second half.
Stuart Armstrong 7 – Another top performance from Armstrong who was once again in the right place, at the right time to score yet another goal from the middle of the park.
Scott Brown 6 – Typical Brown like performance, full of commitment, leadership and heart. There were a number of times when he was caught in possession.
James Forrest 8 – Outstanding display from the youngster who played a part in both of Celtic’s goals. He never stopped running at the opposition defence.
Scott Sinclair 5 – Poor display from the versatile attacker who couldn’t get anything going. Needs to add consistency to his game.
Moussa Dembele 5 – Just like Sinclair, he should have performed better. Whenever he gets the ball he does spark life into the team but he was poor today.
