Celtic player ratings v Hearts: Mainstay 3/10 after utterly dreadful performance

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS

Celtic

Craig Gordon – 4: Turned in another poor performance to go with the many we have seen recently, could have done better with the second and fourth goals and the penalty he gave away was needless

Kieran Tierney – 4: Taken off at half-time with an apparent injury, found the going hard and seems to be increasingly in need of a rest

Dedryck Boyata – 4: Another poor game, was arguably culpable for the first Hearts goal, has reverted back to the form he showed in his first season at Celtic Park, last year looks to be a one-off

Jozo Simunovic – 3: Utterly dreadful. The defensive mainstay couldn’t cope at all with Hearts’ physical presence, his back-pass which let in Milinkovic for the third goal was a low point. Needs a spell on the bench.

Mikael Lustig – 4: Looks exhausted after playing so many games for club and country. Didn’t cover himself with glory when he failed to play to the whistle and almost let Hearts in for a goal.
