Celtic player ratings v Hearts: Mainstay 3/10 after utterly dreadful performance
MIDFIELD
Scott Brown – 4: Had possibly his poorest domestic game of the season, when he doesn’t have a good game Celtic seem to struggle and this was proven to be the case at Tynecastle.
Olivier Ntcham – 5: Slightly unlucky to be substituted a half-time as he wasn’t playing any worse than other players in the side, presumably Brendan Rodgers wanted more urgency.
Callum McGregor – 4: A player who is badly out-of-form, not helped by playing in the ‘number 10’ role, which he just doesn’t seem suited to, needs to go back to preferred midfield role.
Scott Sinclair – 4: Anonymous again after some decent performances, another player who is finding it difficult to live up to his performances of last season despite what the stats say.
James Forrest – 6: The Hoops’ best player by a mile, only one who has anything like approaching pass marks, created the few chances that the Scottish Premiership league leaders had.
