Celtic have tweeted an old photo showing Hoops centre-forward Odsonne Edouard and French starlet Kylian Mbappe ahead of their Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
The childhood rivals, now both 19-years-old, are set to meet once again on Tuesday evening when Brendan Rodgers’ side host the European giants.
The club shared the picture on their official Twitter account, which was originally tweeted by Espoirs du Football, alongside a message which stated that the two teenagers “could cross swords” during the competition this season.
The original photo showed the youngsters at just 11-years-old as former opponents in France during a Bobigny v Bondy match eight years ago.
It shows that not only will the teenager have to face his old team mates from PSG, but also an old friend.

Edouard joined the Glaswegian club on a season-long loan as a last minute signing on transfer deadline day and has already made his impressive debut during the Bhoys’ 4-1 victory over Hamilton where the young star supplied an assist and netted a goal.
He proved his worth to boss Brendan Rodgers which could mean he gets called up for the Hoops’ Champions League clash to face Mbappe, who is also on loan.
Edouard joined fellow loanee Patrick Roberts at Parkhead over the summer as well as permanent signings Kundai Benyu, Johnny Hayes, and Olivier Ntcham.
In other Celtic news, Neymar has issued a warning to the Bhoys ahead of Tuesday night.
