With Celtic winning the league against Rangers on Sunday, the Hoops have three league games left, all of which are relatively meaningless.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Brendan Rodgers made plenty of changes for the games, to give players rest ahead of the Scottish Cup Final, and one player who should be involved is 15-year-old wonderkid Karamoko Dembele.
The teenager is currently playing in a youth tournament for England, where the Scottish Sun reported that he shone in a 5-3 victory over Austria.
When he returns to Glasgow, the Hoops boss should put him in the squad for the league match against Kilmarnock on Wednesday the 9th of May.
An announcement that the player is going to be in the squad would add numbers to the crowd on a Wednesday night, and a cameo appearance from off the bench seems like the way to introduce the player to the first-team.
The Hoops boss already admitted to the Scotsman in February that Dembele is talented enough to be involved in the first-team, and that only his size was keeping him back.
With the league won and the Hoops in holiday mode a 15 minute cameo would do Dembele the world of good, it would let him know just what you have to do to be involved in the first-team and it would let Rodgers know if the player should be added to the first-team squad more often next season.
In other Celtic news, three Hoops players who shone against Rangers must be given a new contract
