Celtic should take advantage of potential firesale and swoop for rapid PL forward

West Brom are all but relegated from the Premier League, and it seems certain that they will be having a firesale to get some of their bigger earners off their books.

One player who looks likely to depart is 21-year-old Scottish forward Oliver Burke, and Celtic should be preparing a summer swoop for the player.

Burke has had to deal with a lot of hype very early on in his career, when he move from Nottingham Forest to Bundesliga side Leipzig.

The move didn’t really work out for the player though, and he ended up moving to West Brom last summer for a fee of £13million.

Despite making 17 appearances for the Baggies so far, the player hasn’t been able to stop their inevitable relegation, as they sit in 20th place in the Premier League, 13 points from safety.

The rapid wide-forward, who can also play up front, will be looking for a new club, to ensure that he keeps his place in the Scotland side, and that is where the Hoops come in.

With Patrick Roberts set to return to Manchester City at the end of the season, the Hoops will be in need of a new winger, and Burke fits the bill.

He is still only at the start of his career, and if Brendan Rodgers can work his magic on him Burke could see a career resurrection and go onto great things with the Hoops.

In other Celtic news, the Hoops cannot even contemplate selling this player in the summer
