Dembele has failed to feature for the Bhoys after being substituted in the 75th minute of Celtic’s 1-0 win against St. Johnstone earlier this month.
Dembele has been the subject of interest from London towards the end of the January transfer window, with Premier League leaders Chelsea said to be ready to stump up an offer.

However, it is said that Dembele has only jetted in to London to undergo a scan on his injury.
Since his move from Fulham, the Frenchman has been in wonderful form for the Hoops, scoring 20 goals in 38 league and cup games in Glasgow.
Fans will be desperate to see the return of their attacking talisman, and will be eagerly anticipating the results of the scan as they hope their top scorer returns to action soon.
Football Insider verdict:
Fans will be relieved to see that Dembele is only travelling to London to find out the severity of his injury, rather than entering possible talks over a move to Stamford Bridge. Dembele has been key to Celtic’s domination over the Scottish Premiership so far, currently third in the league goalscoring charts behind Liam Boyce and Scott Sinclair with nine league goals. Dembele’s return date is currently unknown, as the Hoops prepare to face tough games against the likes of Aberdeen, St.Johnstone and Motherwell, before facing Rangers on March 12.
