30-year-old is not good enough: Celtic summer signings rated

After going the whole of last season undefeated in domestic competition, Brendan Rodgers has the best squad in Scotland at his disposal.

A return to the Champions League group stage gave the former Liverpool boss funds to strengthen his squad and Rodgers has added a handful of players to his Invincibles.

Keeping the side which served so well last season will be important for Celtic too as they aim for a seventh consecutive Scottish title.

The biggest story of the summer for Celtic was the will-he/won’t-he saga surrounding the return of Patrick Roberts on loan from Man City.

A handful of fringe players were moved on as three permanent signings were joined by two late loan deals
