Frosinone’s Fares Ghedjemis has continued to remain a target of Celtic ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old had a fantastic season in the Serie B, where he led the club to promotion.

Overall, he netted 15 goals and picked up three assists in the second tier, and he is now preparing for the World Cup with Algeria.

The journalist has explained that Frosinone are open to a Ghedjemis sale this summer, as it could help fund their transfer window.

The Italian club are still waiting for an appropriate offer, with interest also emerging for English and German clubs.

Interest in Ghedjemis is now starting to heat up, which could give Celtic some competition for his signature.

However, the fact that Frosinone are open to a sale is no doubt a boost for the Hoops.

Given their promotion, a deal could have been impossible as they look to maintain their stay in the Serie A.
