Celtic urged by fans to seal Jeffrey Schlupp deal after ‘record-breaking agreement’
Celtic are currently enjoying an impressive season on all fronts, but the focus for many supporters is starting to shift to the next campaign.
The Scottish giants currently have an incredible 16-point gap over Rangers in the Scottish Premiership while they have already lifted the Scottish Cup.
Brendan Rodgers’ men had a strong run in the Champions League and were only narrowly knocked out by Bayern Munich with a last-minute goal, while they remain in the Scottish FA Cup.
Rodgers made as many signings as possible to strengthen his team in the last two transfer windows, one of which was to bring Jeffrey Schlupp to the club on loan until the end of the season in January.
The Crystal Palace star joined the Hoops in the middle of the season and has settled in nicely north of the border, showcasing his qualities and experience.

It has led to question marks surrounding his long-term future and whether or not the club will sign him permanently, especially after calls to the board to financially back Rodgers.

Celtic are already investing heavily for next season
Celtic are already set to invest heavily for the 2025-26 campaign as Kieran Tierney will be returning to his boyhood club at the end of this season.
Football Insider revealed that Tierney will be the highest-paid player at Celtic when he returns after a record-breaking agreement secured, showcasing the board’s intention to help Rodgers.
Schlupp will be out of contract at Crystal Palace in the summer, so signing him would simply be a matter of whether the club wants to pay his wage demands.

Celtic fans are demanding that Jeffrey Schlupp stays
Schlupp scored his first goal for Celtic as part of their 5-2 win against St Mirren on Saturday (1 March), and fans have made their voices overwhelmingly clear on his contract status.
Supporters have claimed it’s something the club should do “in a heartbeat” as he is an “excellent option” for Rodgers to have.
