Celtic urged to ‘sign Lennon Miller’ as full stats emerge from Motherwell clash

Celtic fans have urged the club to sign Motherwell’s Lennon Miller after his performance against them on Sunday (27 October).

The Hoops picked up a 3-0 win to stay top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference after Luke McCowan, Alistair Johnston, and Adam Idah found the back of the net at Fir Park.

However, Miller’s performance for Motherwell still caught the eye of his opposing fans as he showcased attacking and defensive qualities.

The 18-year-old central midfielder was twice denied by the crossbar as he attempted to cause problems for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Miller created one chance throughout the game and boasted an 80% accurate pass rate from the 30 he attempted over the 90 minutes.

The Scottish midfielder had 49 touches and impressed defensively by making eight recoveries and five clearances, while he also won five duels.

Celtic fans believe they could dominate with Lennon Miller in the midfield next season

It is rare that supporters choose to praise players from the opposite team they’re facing, but that wasn’t the case with Miller.

Celtic fans showered the central midfielder with plaudits after the match and told the club to “pay whatever Motherwell want” for him.

In other news, Rodgers told to unleash Celtic duo in tandem – they could be incredible.
