Celtic vs Aberdeen: How to watch today’s game, TV channel, kick-off time
Celtic will host Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday in a game that could prove pivotal for Wilfried Nancy’s future.
Dundee United beat Celtic 2-1 on Wednesday, marking a fourth consecutive defeat since the Frenchman took over at Celtic Park.
The 48-year-old arrived at the start of December, but has since led his side in defeats to Hearts, Roma, St. Mirren and Dundee United.
Martin O’Neill has been touted as the favourite to replace Nancy, after the Northern Irishman led the Bhoys to seven wins from his eight games as interim manager.
But Celtic are not prepared to sack Nancy yet, with decision-makers keen to give the former MLS coach a chance to get things right.
How to watch Celtic vs Aberdeen
Thursday’s game was a difficult one to explain for Nancy. His side battered the hosts in the first half, but only had Daizen Maeda‘s goal to show for it.
Dundee United would fly out of the blocks after the break, however, and scored two goals within three minutes to turn the contest on its head.
| Dundee United | Match stats | Celtic |
| 26% | Possession | 74% |
| 16 | Shots | 17 |
| 7 | On target | 2 |
| 1.16 | Expected goals (xG) | 2.75 |

Maeda and Shin Yamada had superb chances to equalise before the final whistle, but the Bhoys would ultimately leave having lost yet another game.
Unfortunately for Celtic and Nancy, Sunday’s opponents are expected to put up just as much of a fight.
Jimmy Thelin’s side beat Kilmarnock last week and sit sixth in the Scottish Premiership, having won four of their seven games away this season.
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Celtic’s clash with Aberdeen has not been selected for live TV coverage inside the UK and Ireland.

Fans hoping to watch the match can buy a pay-per-view pass from Celtic TV, available for £12.99. The game will kick off 15:00 GMT at Celtic Park.
Aberdeen hoping to take advantage of Celtic form to end long wait
Aberdeen have not beaten Celtic at Celtic Park, or anywhere in normal time for over seven years.
They did beat the Bhoys to win the Scottish Cup last season, however, in a victory that came from the penalty spot.
Their last win over Celtic in normal time, however, came on the final day of the 2017-18 season, when they became the first Scottish side to inflict a home loss on Brendan Rodgers‘ title-winning team.
A well-taken strike from Andrew Considine secured the three points that day, and Aberdeen will hope to repeat the trick on Sunday.
Should they do so, pressure will once again increase on Nancy and Celtic, and this time, decision-makers may be forced to take action.
