Celtic fans react to Moussa Dembele performance in win against Zenit

Celtic striker Moussa Dembele impressed for Brendan Rodgers’ side 1-0 win against Zenit St. Petersburg on Thursday night – and Hoops fans were blown away by the Frenchman’s performance.
Dembele was a huge part of Celtic’s attacking play and linked up well with Callum McGregor particularly well as the Hoops tried to get themselves a lead to take into next week’s second leg in Russia.
The 21-year-old has struggled to replicate last season’s form for the Scottish champions but will be happy with his night’s work against Roberto Mancini’s side.
Hoops fans were delighted with the former Fulham striker’s performance – with one fan insisting the Frenchman was “back.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Dembele has scored nine times in 26 appearances so far this season in an injury-hit campaign.
Last season, Dembele was in phenomenal form infront of goal with 32 strikes in 49 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side as they won an unbeaten domestic treble.
Rodgers has used his squad much more this season meaning Dembele has faced a fight with Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard for a place in the starting XI.
With Griffiths sidelined by injury, Dembele has a real chance to re-establish himself as Rodgers’ main striker over the remainder of the season.
