GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS
Dorus de Vries – 5: Might have done better with Doolan’s goal, but had no chance with Sammon’s goal. Always looks a tad nervy but that’s understandable with the defence in front of him.
Mikael Lustig – 5: Back in the side and not at his best, lucky to avoid injury after a poor challenge, managed to play on but found the going tough, will need to improve against Zenit.
Jozo Simunovic – 3: Oh dear. Dreadful mistake lead to Doolan’s goal and was all over the place after. Was destroyed by Sammon for the second goal and should be dropped against Zenit after this shocking outing.
Kristoffer Ajer – 6: The Hoops’ best defender, which isn’t saying much. Dealt with most of what Thistle threw at the Hoops relatively comfortably, needs a competent defender beside him though.
Kieran Tierney – 8: Brilliant in attack and defence, dealt with plenty of rough treatment and also made a superb last ditch challenge to prevent a Thistle equaliser, another great performance.
