Cesare Casadei sends Chelsea message after 22-yr-old agrees deal
Cesare Casadei has sent Chelsea fans a message after his departure from Stamford Bridge was confirmed.
Chelsea confirmed that the 22-year-old midfielder has completed a permanent transfer to Serie A side Torino this week, ending his spell with the Premier League outfit.
The Blues originally signed the Italy international from Inter Milan in August 2022, but he has struggled for regular game time with the club.
Casadei has made 17 appearances throughout his spell with the London outfit, with only six of them taking place this season.
Casadei has signed a lengthy contract with Torino, committing his future to the Italian side until 2029.

Casadei took to Instagram after the transfer was made complete to reflect on his time at Chelsea.
He said, “I want to thank everyone who’s been part of this journey, has been an honor to wear this amazing shirt and to play for this club. Now it’s time for me to move on, I wish you all the success that this club deserves.”
The midfielder never scored a goal or provided an assist for the first team, but did score five and assist once for the Under-21s side.
Casadei will be available to play for Torino immediately as he looks to kick on with his individual career.
Chelsea will be back in action on Monday (3 February) against West Ham United in the Premier League.
