Charlie Taylor has issued a fiery response to a Leeds supporter on Instagram who stated that the defender should be sold in the summer.
The supporter pointed out that Taylor, 23, has the body language of someone who does not want to be at Elland Road and suggested that his current stand-in Gaetano Berardi is a superior player.
Left-back Taylor replied to the fan on the social media site that his contract at Elland Road is up in the summer so “good luck” with offloading him to another club.
The Elland Road academy product posted the message on his personal Instagram account, which is verified by a blue tick and is also followed by a number of his Leeds teammates.
It was later deleted, although another Leeds supporter, Adam Barratt, posted screenshots of the interaction between Taylor and the fan on his own Twitter account on Monday night.

Taylor’s contract with the Whites is due to expire at the end of June with many at Elland Road wanting him to stay on at the club.
York-born Taylor is highly regarded at the Yorkshire outfit and prior to his injury in December he was a key member of Garry Monk’s promotion-chasing side.
He has since returned from his two-month injury lay-off and has been training with the senior team as he bids to make a return to first-team football.
This season, Taylor has played 25 games in all competitions for the Yorkshire club, helping his team secure nine clean sheets during those encounters.
Gaetano Berardi has been deputising at the left-hand side of defence in Taylor’s absence and the experienced campaigner could take to the field when promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday visit Elland Road at the weekend.
