Chelsea ‘bomb squad’ member now set for shock recall after what he’s done ‘behind the scenes’
One Chelsea player may be handed a second chance by manager Enzo Maresca when the Blues return to action after the international break.
Marseca’s side currently sit third in the Premier League table, and travel to 17th placed Burnley when domestic action returns.
Chelsea swept Wolves aside 3-0 last time out, in a dominant display at Stamford Bridge to move within six points of leaders Arsenal.
For the trip to Burnley, Maresca may be strengthened with the addition of one player to the squad.

Axel Disasi could return to Chelsea first team
Trevoh Chalobah has turned his Chelsea career around, after previously being out of favour under Maresca and the same may now happen to Axel Disasi.
Disasi was part of the Chelsea ‘bomb squad’, and was sent on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of last season.

As per the Mirror, [14 November], Disasi’s start for the under-21 side against Reading last weekend was not a coincidence.
“This was part of a plan to boost his fitness levels, as the Frenchman had not made a competitive appearance this season prior to that match,” the Mirror reported.
“Chelsea are now considering bringing Disasi back into the first-team fold over time, having acknowledged his impressive contributions and positive influence on the younger players behind the scenes.”

Raheem Sterling still part of ‘bomb squad’
Raheem Sterling has been left out in the cold under Maresca, as the Italian has not favoured the former Man City winger.
Sterling spent last season at Arsenal, in an unsuccessful spell that meant he returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Amid links to Fulham in the transfer window, Sterling was told he must take a pay cut to leave Chelsea.
