Chelsea fans all saying the same thing about Renato Veiga after Portugal debut

Chelsea supporters have all been left impressed by Renato Veiga’s continued development after he made his debut for Portugal during the recent international window.

The 21-year-old joined the Blues during the summer transfer window for £12million from FC Basel, and has become an important member of Enzo Maresca’s squad.

The versatile footballer has played at left back and in central midfield this season, making eight appearances across all competitions for the Londoners.

His efforts for the Premier League giants have been rewarded by Roberto Martinez as he handed the youngster his international debut against Poland on Sunday (13 October).

The Chelsea star played alongside Ruben Dias at centre-back as Portugal went on to win the game 3-1.

Chelsea have the chance to develop Veiga due to him being under a long-term contract until 2031.
